Number Fifteen: Zac Brown Has 11 Siblings. Lead singer Zac Brown is actually the 11th of 12 total children.

Number Fourteen: He Is a Georgia Man. Brown was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He was raised by both his mother and step-father, but he was not raised in Atlanta. He was raised near Lake Lanier, Georgia.

Number Thirteen: He Started His Own Label. In 2003, Brown created Home Grown. Though it is called Southern Ground today, the label still stands. The name was changed for legal purposes.

Number Twelve: His Step-Dad Had an Interesting Profession. Brown’s step-father, the man who raised him, was actually a dentist! We bet he has some nice teeth because of that. His step-father was a dentist in Cumming, Georgia.

Number Eleven: He Was a Camp Counselor. Brown acted as a camp counselor at Camp Mikell, which is located in Toccoa, Georgia. He was also a camp counselor at Camp Glisson, which is a United Methodist summer camp located in Dahlonega, Georgia. Camp Glisson was also a retreat in addition to being a summer camp.

Number Ten: He Has Been Touring Since He Was 19 Years Old. Brown began touring when he was just 19 years old, and he had just a drummer and his dog with him. Little did he know that he would still be touring nine years later with the entirety of the Zac Brown Band. There are currently eight members in the Zac Brown Band (including Zac Brown).

Number Nine: “Chicken Fried” Was Released Twice. In 2003, Zac Brown Band released their debut single, “Chicken Fried.” The single was included on their album titled Home Grown. However, the song was later re-recorded and released again in 2008 to country radio.
