Xavier Boscher – The Origin of My Well-Being / L’origine de mon bien-être

Xavier Boscher’s music video entitled “L’origine de mon bien-être” (English translation: “The Origin of My Well-Being”) begins with a soft piano. The setting takes place in a desert, where we find a lovely young woman living in a quaint and cozy trailer. We see clips of her in different parts of her home in the desert. Footage of Boscher are put in between; we only see his face and his emotions as he sings the song. There is a violin in the background as the track picks up to become more of a pop rock tune. The chorus is energetic, filled with electric guitars, drums, and bass, whereas the verses are slowed-down with only soft piano chords. This lovely French ballad conveys a message of the heart and the emotions running through it. She is the one he desires and her love is fragile. The music is beautiful, and we can thank Monsieur Boscher, for he has written and composed the track himself.
