Wiz Khalifa feat. Ty Dolla $ign and Snoop Dogg: ‘You and Your Friends’ Music Video Review

Wiz Khalifa is back with a fresh DJ Mustard-produced banger called You and Your Friends, featuring Ty Dolla $ign & Snoop Dogg). You and Your Friends is the third single and latest music video from Khalifas fifth album, Blacc Hollywood. Over a laidback beat, Dolla $ign takes over the chorus while Khalifa opts out of rapping and sings a few verses instead. The Cali native tries to convince some ladies to come back with him after the party with the lyrics, Came here with all of my dogs / but Im tryna leave with you and your friends. Ty Dolla $ign knows his way around a catchy chorus and he definitely adds to the replay value of You and Your Friends.

Lately, Khalifa has been in the news more for his relationship drama than his music. so its good that he came back with a party track that has radio appeal and lets Khalifa show his funny side in the video. Other than We Dem Boyz, Blacc Hollywood hasnt had too many successful singles, so hopefully, You and Your Friends can become a hit. Fingers crossed, Khalifa decides to release Ass Drop as a single; I could definitely hear that blowing up.

The music video is a mix between Katy Perrys This Is How We Do music video, the title sequence from The Brady Bunch, and a random beach party at the end. Throughout the jump cut-filled video, beautiful women can be seen dancing around Khalifa, Ty and the legend Snoop D-O-double G. You and Your Friends isnt my favorite cut from Blacc Hollywood, but it matches the party vibe of the video perfectly. The beat reminds me of other Mustard-produced hits, but I really like Snoops verse towards the end. I also noticed Snoop looks extremely young in this video; maybe its the colorful background. You and Your Friends may find a spot on your party playlist in the upcoming months, but I dont think well be hearing this song by the time summer hits.
