Wiz Khalifa Continues Billboard Domination

Wiz Khalifa‘s “See You Again” featuring Charlie Puth is Number 1 for the fifth week on the Billboard Hot 100. The song is featured on the Furious 7 soundtrack, and it is a tribute song dedicated to the late Paul Walker. The single is also Number 1 on the Digital Songs, Streaming Songs, On-Demand Songs, R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and Hot Rap Songs chart. Wiz Khalifa’s reign at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 is currently the second longest run for a solo male rapper since Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie” (featuring Rihanna), spent seven weeks at the top of the Hot 100 in 2010.

Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 on the Hot 100 chart is Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen” at Number 2, The Weeknd’s “Earned It (Fifty Shades of Grey)” at Number 3, Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk!” featuring Bruno Mars at Number 4, Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance” at Number 5, Maroon 5’s “Sugar” at Number 6, Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” at Number 7, Jason Derulo’s “Want to Want Me” at Number 8, Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” at Number 9, and Flo Rida’s “G.D.F.R.” featuring Sage the Gemini and Lookas takes the tenth spot on the chart.

Wiz Khalifa will perform his hit song “See You Again” at the Billboard Music Awards this year. The show will broadcast on the ABC network at 8pm (Eastern standard time) on May 17th. Along with Khalifa, Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea will perform their new single “Pretty Girls,” which is currently Number 29 on the Billboard Hot 100. Mariah Carey will hit the stage as well, and she is expected to perform “Infinity,” and Nicki Minaj is expected to perform her single “The Night Is Still Young.”

Fans can also expect performances by Kanye West, Meghan Trainor, Ed Sheeran, Nick Jonas, Imagine Dragons, and more. Although she won’t be performing this year, Taylor Swift will premiere the music video for “Bad Blood,” and it is expected to air at the beginning of the awards show. The music video will feature guest appearances by Kendrick Lamar, Ellie Goulding, Martha Hunt, Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, and several other celebrities.
