When and Where to Watch the MTV Movie Awards

The 2015 MTV Movie Awards airs tonight on MTV, VH1, and viewers can also stream it live on MTV’s website. The event will be hosted by Amy Schumer (Trainwreck), and it will feature performances by Fall Out Boy, Fetty Wap, Charli XCX, Ty Dolla $ign, and Tinashe. The MTV Movie Awards’ pre-show will be hosted by Jessie J and Kelly Osbourne. The red carpet event will feature exclusive interviews, and Jessie J will reportedly perform on the pre-show as well. The red carpet event will air at 7:30 pm (Eastern standard time), and it is also available for live streaming. The MTV Movie Awards will begin at 8pm (EST) live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles (CA).

Robert Downey Jr., Kevin Hart, and Shailene Woodley will receive special awards during the event. Robert Downey Jr. will receive the Generation Award, Hart will receive the Comedic Genius Award, and Woodley will be honored with the MTV Trailblazer Award. It has been reported that during the award show, MTV will air the full-length trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron, Paper Towns, and Pitch Perfect 2. Some of the presenters for the awards show include Mark Wahlberg, Sofia Vergara, and Vin Diesel.

Some of the nominees for the 2015 MTV Movie Awards: The Best Musical Moment nominees include Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 1), Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy), Seth Rogen and Zac Efron (Neighbors), Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig (The Skeleton Twins), and Miles Teller (Whiplash). Breakthrough Performance nominees include Ansel Elgort (The Fault in Our Stars), Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl), David Oyelowo (Selma), Dylan O’Brien (The Maze Runner), and Ellar Coltrane (Boyhood).

Movie of the Year nominations include American Sniper, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 1, Guardians of the Galaxy, Gone Girl, The Fault in Our Stars, Boyhood, Whiplash, and Selma. Bradley Cooper (American Sniper), Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy), Ansel Elgort (The Fault in Our Stars), Miles Teller (Whiplash), and Channing Tatum (Foxcatcher), are all nominated for Best Male Performance. The actresses in the Best Female Performance category include Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 1), Emma Stone (Birdman), Shailene Woodley (The Fault in Our Stars), Reese Witherspoon (Wild), and Scarlett Johansson (Lucy).
