Veil of Maya Added to Summer Slaughter Tour

Veil of Maya have been added to the Summer Slaughter Tour lineup. The heavy metal tour which also features the likes of Arch Enemy, Born of Osiris, The Acacia Strain, Obscura, After The Burial, Cattle Decapitation, and Beyond Creation, will launch on July 28th. VIP tickets for Summer Slaughter can be purchased now, and general admission tickets will go on sale May 29th. More heavy metal bands are expected to be announced for the tour, which will begin in Denver, Colorado at The Summit Music Hall. The rest of the tour dates include Des Moines (IA) on July 30th; Minneapolis (MN) on July 31st; Joliet (IL) on August 1st; Cleveland (OH) on August 2nd; Columbus (OH) on August 3rd; Philadelphia (PA) on August 5th; Montreal (QC) on August 7th; Worcester (MA) on August 8th; Sayreville (NJ) on August 9th; New York (NY) on August 12th; Baltimore (MD) on August 13th; Knoxville (TN) on August 15th; Dallas (TX) on August 17th; Austin (TX) on August 18th; Tempe (AZ) on August 20th; San Diego (CA) on August 21st; Anaheim (CA) on August 22nd; and San Francisco (CA) on August 23rd.

Veil of Maya’s studio albums include All Things Set Aside, The Common Man’s Collapse, [id], Eclipse, and their latest effort Matriarch. Matriarch was released on May 12th, and it entered the Top Current Albums chart at Number 21, becoming the band’s highest debut to date. The album also peaked at Number 2 on the Hard Rock Albums chart, and it impacted the Billboard Top 200 at Number 56. Before heading out on the Summer Slaughter Tour, Veil of May will headline their own tour, which launches today in Raleigh (NC) at Lincoln Theatre. Before the tour wraps on June 14th in Winnipeg (MB), the band will travel to Birmingham (AL) on May 27th; Jacksonville (FL) on May 28th; Fort Lauderdale (FL) on May 29th; Tampa (FL) on May 30th; El Paso (TX) on June 2nd; Tucson (AZ) on June 3rd; Las Vegas (NV) on June 4th; Sacramento (CA) on June 6th; Portland (OR) on June 7th; Seattle (WA) on June 8th; Vancouver (BC) on June 9th; Calgary (AB) on June 11th; Edmonton (AB) on June 12th; and Regina (SK) on June 13th.
