Tribal Seeds Begin ‘Representing Fall’ Tour

San Diego’s Tribal Seeds have officially hit the road en route for the first show of their Representing Fall Tour 2014. The nationwide tour will be host to 26 shows across the country with support from Maryland’s longtime reggae-rock-pop-punk ensemble, Ballyhoo. Also featured on the tour will be solo sets from Tribal Seeds’ lead guitarist and backup vocalist, Gonzo, who has been given the opportunity to showcase his talents in support of his 2014 release, RED, as well as his debut solo album, Rocksteady. Joining Gonzo on stage will be his backing band, Beyond I Sight, marking the first time that both artists have toured the country as a package.

Although it is only October, Tribal Seeds has already had a full year’s worth of touring in 2014, beginning with January’s Winter West Coast Tour that featured fellow California-based bands, Through The Roots and Mystic Roots. Upon completion of the short western run, the band immediately went on to the Representing Spring Tour, which spotlighted New York’s New Kingston and Hawaii’s Inna Vision. Another nationwide showcase was to follow as Tribal Seeds hit the road once again with New Kingston for the Representing Summer Tour, also bringing on support from Los Angeles’ roots-reggae band, The Expanders.

Soon after the summer tour, Gonzo and fellow Tribal Seeds member, E.N Young, set out on the Roots Musician Records Showcase Tour for another small run on the western part of the country. Joining on these dates was rising female reggae artist, Leilani Wolfgramm, out of Orlando, Florida. Presented by Rude Entertainment Productions, the three solo artists, who are all under E.N’s Roots Musician Records label, played a string of 8 shows all with Beyond I Sight providing the live music throughout each artist’s set.

On October 6th, Tribal Seeds’ latest album, Representing, received an award for Best World Music Album at the 24th annual San Diego Music Awards. Produced by keyboardist and backup vocalist, E.N Young, the album has received great reviews and is host to special guest appearances from some of today’s biggest artists in the genre, both old and new. In addition, E.N recently announced that his highly anticipated sophomore album, Live, Love, Stay Up, is close to being finished.

Earlier this week, Alex Gammill, bassist for Beyond I Sight and Tribal Seeds’ touring sound technician, expressed his gratitude for the chance to embark on the opportunity of a lifetime. He explained, “5 years ago I met Preston Cross (drums) and together we started Beyond I Sight. From the beginning our goal was to take this as far as possible and in this 5 years we have never lost sight. We’ve been incredibly blessed with the musicians we’ve brought together and the family we’ve created. I have so much respect for everyone who has contributed to this project over the years. A lot of hard work and sacrifice has gone into making this possible and I am eternally grateful to all who have helped make this happen. This week we embark on our first nationwide tour with Tribal Seeds…literally a dream come true.” The Representing Fall Tour 2014 officially begins tomorrow night, October 17th, at the Animas City Theatre in Durango, Colorado.
