At the end of the first week of June, the fifth annual Governor’s Ball took place in New York City. Citizens of New York flocked to Randall’s Island to see their favorite artists and bands perform live at what was promised to be an unforgettable festival. Headliners Drake, Florence + The Machine, and Lana Del Rey did not disappoint the crowd by any measure, and each of them performed exceptionally. In addition, there were also many other much smaller acts that were a part of the Gov Ball lineup including Marina and The Diamonds, Clean Bandit, St. Vincent, and Future Islands, who excelled during their sets as well. Approximately 150,000 people attended Gov Ball this year, and tickets are already being sold on pre-sale for Gov Ball 2016.
