Welcome back to our list of the most wealthy Caribbean celebrities! The list continues here with some even more well-known names – and a lot more money being spread out among Jamaicans, Trinidadians, Barbadians and more. Find out more about these well-off celebrities below.
Number Five: Stephen Marley, Net Worth of $20 Million
He’s the last of the Marley kids to make the list. His album “Mind Control” won best reggae album at the Grammys in 2007.
Number Four: Talented Caribbean Usain Bolt, Net Worth of $30 Million
The first athlete on our list is the fastest person alive. He has multiple world records which make him pretty much the unquestionable champ in speed: One top of winning 8 gold medals, he has world records in the 100 meter, 200 meter and 4 x 100 relay races. He’s also won a few silver medals in Olympic competition as well, but those are an afterthought compared to those other accomplishments.
Number Three: Rita Marley, Net Worth of $50 Million
We’re still not done with the royal family of Jamaican music yet – but we are done with the reggae legend’s famous kids, at least. Rita is Bob’s widow and was one of the backup singers in his band. After his death, she founded the Bob Marley Foundation, which she still runs to this day. The organization exists to fight poverty and hunger nations of the developing world.
Number Two: Nicki Minaj, Net Worth of $50 Million
Finally, a Trinidadian on this list! Nicki is definitely the fastest Caribbean celebrity to rise to such fame and wealth through her hip hop, r&b, and pop music. She has been known for her inimitable rap style and her collaborations with the likes of Lil Wayne and Drake (although she might not be working the latter much more after all his feuding with Meek Mill, her current boyfriend) Fun fact: she has both African and Indian ancestry.
Number One: Rihanna, Net Worth of $120 Million
Rihanna is the one and only Barbadian on the list, and yet her net worth is significantly higher than anyone else listed here. She became famous – and rich – right away with her debut about Music of the Sun which saw success thanks to singles like “Pon de Replay” and “You Don’t Love Me (No, No, No).” Her most recent single is “Work.” That’s the top ten.
