The last studio album from The Weeknd was entitled Kiss Land. The project was released in 2013, and produced six singles including “Kiss Land,” “Belong to the World,” and “Love in the Sky.” The album has been described as “dark and depraved” but it represents who the Weeknd is, as a man and a musician. “Kiss Land is the story after Trilogy; it’s pretty much the second chapter of my life,” he once told MTV News. The Weeknd added, “The album is about what young men think but will never say out loud. I’ve learned to pretty much not give a shit, and it kind of morphed this sound and it works.” Earlier this month, the singer was also announced as a performer at the 2015 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The Indie, California festival will take place during two weekends, April 12-14 and April 17-19.
