The Eagles Reveal 2015 North America Tour Dates

The Eagles are embarking on another big tour this year. In 2013, the band’s After The History of the Eagles worldwide tour accumulated more than $145 million dollars. The worldwide tour concluded in 2014, and now the Eagles are preparing to make another legendary run. This year’s tour won’t be as big as the 2013 tour, but the band will travel to several cities in North America. Their tour launches on May 19th at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin (TX). The Eagles will also travel to Oklahoma City (OK), El Paso (TX), Bakersfield (CA), Las Vegas (NV), Eugene (OR), Sioux Falls (SD), Miami (FL), Buffalo (NY), Dayton (OH), and several other cities. The North America tour concludes on July 29thin Bossier City (LA) at the CenturyLink Center.

The legendary Eagles band was formed in 1971, and it consisted of Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Bernie Leadon, and Randy Meisner. Today, the band features Henley, Frey, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit. The Eagles have released seven studio albums, which include Eagles, Desperado, On the Border, One of These Nights, Hotel California, The Long Run, and Long Road Out of Eden. Their most successful project, Hotel California, has sold over 32 million copies worldwide. The triple-Diamond album features two Number 1 songs, “Hotel California” and “New Kid in Town.”

The Eagles fourth album, One of These Nights, produced three Top 5 singles. Those singles include “One of These Nights,” “Lyin’ Eyes,” and “Take it to the Limit.” “One of These Nights” reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, “Lyin’ Eyes” peaked at Number 2, and “Take it to the Limit” reached Number 4 on the chart. One of These Nights sold over four million copies, and was nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards.

In 1998, the Eagles were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. To date, the band has won six Grammy Awards for Best Pop Vocal Performance (“Lyin’ Eyes”), Record of the Year (“Hotel California”), Best Arrangement for Voices (“New Kid in Town”), Best Rock Vocal Performance (“Heartache Tonight”), Best Country Performance (“How Long”), and Best Pop Instrumental (“I Dreamed There Was No War”).
