The 1975 Announce Tour Dates For December

The 1975 have revealed their tour dates for the month of December. Pre-sale tickets are available today on the band’s website, and general admission tickets will be available on June 19th. The 1975 December dates includes a stop in Boston (MA) on the 3rd, New York (NY) on the 4th, Philadelphia (PA) on the 5th, Columbus (OH) on the 7th, Chicago (IL) on the 8th, Minneapolis (MN) on the 10th, Tempe (AZ) on the 14th, San Diego (CA) on the 15th, Los Angeles (CA) on the 16th, Oakland (CA) on the 17th, Portland (OR) on the 19th, and Seattle (WA) on the 20th.

The 1975 recently released the November dates for their tour as well. They will began their tour run in Liverpool (UK) on the 9th. The remaining shows include Leicester (UK) on the 10th, Sheffield (UK) on the 11th, Doncaster (UK) on the 12th, Nottingham (UK) on the 14th, Newcastle upon Tyne (UK) on the 15th, Edinburgh (UK) on the 17th, Bridlington (UK) on the 18th, Cambridge (UK) on the 19th, Plymouth (UK) on the 20th, Southampton (UK) on the 21st, Southend-on-Sea (UK) on the 23rd, London (UK) on the 24th, Brighton (UK) on the 26th, Swindon (UK) on the 27th, and Manchester (UK) on the 28th.

The band also announced they are working on a new album. “This is the beginning of a new chapter for The 1975. Our new record signifies the start of a new world for us, a more colorful world,” the band stated. This new project will mark The 1975’s second album; their first album was released two years ago. The band’s self-titled debut featured the singles “Sex,” “Girls,” “Settle Down,” “Robbers,” and “Heart Out.” The 1975 peaked at Number 1 in the UK and Scotland. It also reached Number 28 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart, and charted in Australia, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, and Switzerland. The band also dropped an EP in 2013, which was named IV. The project respectively reached Number 2 on the Top Heatseekers, Number 42 on the Top Rock Albums, and Number 164 on the Billboard 200. The only single dropped from the EP was “The City.”
