The largest music festival in the world, Summerfest, have revealed the headliners and acts for their Grounds Stage. Kaskade, Bastille, The Flaming Lips, Sheryl Crow, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, LeCrae, the Isley Brothers, Walk the Moon, Motion City Soundtrack, Flogging Molly, and more will all perform at this year’s event. Some of the Marcus Amphitheater headliners include Kendrick Lamar, Florida Georgia Line, Kings of Leon, and Zac Brown Band. Summerfest will take place in Milwaukee on June 24th through the 28th and June 30th through July 5th. The festival is expecting around 900,000 people this year.
Zac Brown Band will also make appearances at Kaaboo Del Mar Festival, the Florida Country Superfest, Byron Bay Bluesfest, and the Hangout Festival. In May, the band will also travel to Maryland, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Zac Brown Band’s summer dates include stops in Arkansas, New York, Florida, Virginia, Massachusetts, and several other places in North America. As a part of their summer run, Zac Brown will play three shows at Fenway Park in Boston. The recently added third show at the baseball stadium, is due to the fact that the two previously scheduled dates sold out rather quickly.
Zac Brown Band will release their fourth studio album Jekyll + Hyde on April 28th. The album will feature sixteen songs including “Beautiful Drug,” “Homegrown,” “Mango Tree” featuring Sara Bareilles, and “Heavy Is The Head” featuring Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, Audioslave). “Homegrown” became their 14th Top 10 single, after reaching the Country Airplay chart at Number 9. For the first time ever, the country band had one of their songs debut on the rock charts. “Heavy Is The Head” recently entered the Rock Songs chart at Number 37. The band managed to gain enough spins on rock radio, which helped “Heavy Is The Head’s” chart entry.
The Zac Brown Band has released three studio albums, The Foundation, You Get What You Give, and Uncaged. To date, all of their albums have reached platinum certification. Their Uncaged project won a Grammy Award for Best Country Album, and it produced four singles “The Wind,” “Goodbye In Her Eyes,” “Jump Right In,” and “Sweet Annie.” “Wind” reached Number 11 on the Hot Country Songs chart, and it peaked at Number 70 on the Billboard Hot 100.
