An Etsy user has created a Book of Yeezus, which is intended to be a modern day version of the Bible. The book recreated the book of Genesis and replaced “God” with “Kanye.” The book is currently being sold on Etsy for $20 dollars.
The Yeezy book seems just as bizarre as people trying to sell air from Kanye West‘s concerts. Last month, some people were trying to sell bags full of air on eBay, which they claim were collected at a Kanye West concert. The air bag started when one person tried to sell a ziplock bag that was labeled “Air From Kanye Show.” More than ninety bids were placed for the bag, and the price of the “air” reached $60,000 dollars.
Before anyone could actually purchase the bag of air, eBay removed the item. Although the item was deleted, other people attempted to sell bags of Kanye concert air on eBay too. The online store was soon flooded with auctions selling air bags. Once the sellers realized no one was going to actually purchase the bags, the auctions soon disappeared. In one last desperate attempt, some people tried selling bags of air from a Garth Brooks concert, but those auctions were also unsuccessful.
In regards to more realistic or tangible Kanye West news, the rapper is one of the headliners for the Glastonbury Festival. The festival will take place on June 24th through the 28th; West will perform on June 27th. The rapper will also headline Wango Tango on May 9th in Carson, California. The event will be hosted by American Idol’s Ryan Seacrest, and it will also feature performances by Nick Jonas, Calvin Harris, Sia, Ne-Yo, David Guetta, and more.
Just last week, Justin Bieber revealed West contributed to the pop singer’s new album (expected to drop later this year). Bieber did not reveal if West will make a feature on the project, but he did state that the album will be totally different than anything he has released to date. Along with Bieber’s album, West made production contributions (will also executive produce) to Rihanna’s upcoming project as well. One of the singles from Rihanna’s album entitled “Bitch Better Have My Money” was produced by West.
