Snoop Dogg Invests in a Weed Service App

Snoop Dogg, along with a few other people, have invested about $10 million into a marijuana delivery service named Eaze. The app is currently available in thirty-five cities, and it boasts it can deliver marijuana to its customers in ten minutes or less. Eaze was founded about two years ago, and it has been described as “Uber for weed.” “The plan is to be in every market as quickly as possible that allows for medical marijuana and even recreational use of marijuana,” Eaze CEO Keith McCarty told QZ magazine.

Eaze is based in San Francisco (CA), and the company plans on expanding its marijuana delivery service into other legal marijuana markets in the United States (Nevada, Colorado, and Arizona). With its current funding from the likes of Snoop Dogg, Eaze now has the capability to hire fifty new staff members. Snoop Dogg, Willie Nelson, and B Real (Cypress Hill), will individually launch their own marijuana delivery service in the near future.

Snoop Dogg will be delivering his Bush album to the masses on May 12th. The project will be solely produced by Pharrell Williams, and it features the singles “Peaches N Cream” (featuring Charlie Wilson) and “So Many Pros.” The lead single, “Peaches N Cream,” reached the Rap Airplay chart at Number 19, it also peaked at Number 24 on the Rhythmic chart and Number 41 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart as well. The song has also impacted the charts in Australia, Belgium, France, and the Netherlands.

Bush is the rapper’s twelfth studio album; some of his other projects include Tha Doggfather, Da Game Is To Be Sold, Not to Be Told, No Limit Top Dogg, Tha Last Meal, Paid tha Cost to Be da Boss, R&G (Rhythm & Gangsta): The Masterpiece, and Reincarnated.
