Shania Twain to Rock This Country One Last Time

Early this morning, country music star Shania Twain appeared on Good Morning America to announce that she will be embarking on the Rock This Country Tour, her first traveling show in more than a decade. The tour will travel across America while making a few stops in Canada along the way. Twain will be joined by Wes Mack on all Canadian stops and by Gavin DeGraw on American soil. The tour is set to kick off on June 5th in Seattle, Washington and will finish up on August 23rd in Fresno, California. Unfortunately, Twain also revealed that this will be her last tour.

Last year Twain finished up a two year Las Vegas residency on the stage at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The show, titled Shania: Still The One, ran for 10 legs before coming to a close in December. The show was a career retrospective that spanned the musician’s many years in the country music world. Shania Twain released her self-titled debut album in 1993, and has become a top selling musician since then. Twain joined Celine Dion, who had been performing at Caesars since 2011. Recently, Mariah Carey revealed that she would also be performing at the hotel chain. Prior to hitting the stage in Las Vegas for Shania: Still The One, Twain had not performed in public since her 2004 Up! Tour, citing vocal issues as the reason for taking time away from the scene.

Twain is currently in the process of putting the final touches on her fifth studio album, which she hopes to release on her upcoming fiftieth birthday. This will be the first new album from Twain since the release of Up! in 2002. On March 3rd, the musician released Still The One: Live from Vegas, the musician’s first live album. The 19-track album was recorded during her one of her live shows onstage in Las Vegas, and was supported by the release of a taped stage performance from the show. Any additional information regarding the Rock This Country Tour can be found on Shania Twain’s official website. Tickets will be available for an exclusive pre-sale on March 10th, with them being available to the general public on March 13th.

FDRMX Eyes: Devils Paradise are comprised of five members from Brazil. They’ve recently released a music video entitled “S.O.I.M.
