Number Eight: She Is a Certified Nail Technician. And not only that, but she has her own line of nail polish! Next time you need a manicure, just hit up your girl Serena.
Number Seven: She Gives Back. When Williams isn’t busy dominating in the world of tennis, she’s busy dominating in the world of charity. Williams is a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.
Number Six: She Is a Voice Actor. Is there anything this girl can’t do? If you’ve ever seen Disney Channel’s show Higglytown Heroes, then you may have heard Williams’ voice on an episode! She voiced a “Snowplow Driver Hero” on the series in 2005.
Number Five: She Has Over 60 Career Titles. Williams has won Wimbledon five times, the U.S. Open six times, the Australian Open six times, and she also has four Olympic gold medals. Clearly, Williams’ career speaks for itself.
Number Four: She Was the Second African-American Woman to Win a Grand Slam. Williams became only the second African-American woman to win a Grand Slam professional tennis tournament in 1999.
Number Three: She Is a Published Author. In 2009, Williams released her autobiography for sale. Titled My Life: Queen of the Court, the book is all about her personal life and career in tennis. Williams also co-authored a book titled Venus and Serena: Serving from the Hip with her sister.
Number Two: She Is Number One. Williams is currently ranked the number one female singles tennis player in the world. Following her are Simona Halep, Garbine Muguruza, and Agnieszka Radwanska. Williams’ sister Venus is ranked tenth.
Number One: She Lives With Her Sister. As if Serena and sister Venus didn’t already have enough in common, they currently live together in Palm Beach, Florida. The two have two dogs together as well. Their dogs are named Jackie and Lauralie.
