Prince William: 15 Things You Didn’t Know (Part 1)

Prince William is one of the most famous princes of all time. The son of Princess Diana, William grew up in the spotlight and has remained there. Despite the fact that Prince William has spent a considerable amount of time in the spotlight and under the scrutiny of the public eye, there are still some things that many people don’t know. With that in mind, here we present our list of 15 things you probably didn’t know about Prince William. Check out part one below, and stay tuned for part two, coming soon!

Number Fifteen: He Shares a Hospital With His Children. William was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London. This is the same hospital where his wife, Kate Middleton, gave birth to their children.

Number Fourteen: He Supports the Arts. In 2010, William was appointed the president of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, or BAFTA.

Number Thirteen: He Has a Harry Potter Scar. William earned the scar in 1991 when a classmate accidentally hit him on the head with a golf club. What isn’t clear is how his classmate “accidentally” hit him in the head.

Number Twelve: He Slept 30 Minutes on the Night Before His Wedding. William revealed that he got just 30 minutes of sleep the night before his wedding because there were so many noisy crowds around. He said, “[the crowds] were singing and cheering all night long. So, the excitement of that, the nervousness of me, and everyone singing meant I slept for about half an hour.”

Number Eleven: His Friends Are Pranksters. William’s former colleagues revealed that they played some hilarious pranks on him throughout his relationship with Kate Middleton. They said that they bought various pieces of “Kate and William memorabilia” and strategically placed it around so he would stumble upon it unexpectedly.

Number Ten: If He Were Invisible… William admitted that if he were given the opportunity to be invisible for a day, he would probably go to various publications’ offices just to listen to the stories they were going to write about him.

Number Nine: His Full Title Is a Mouthful. You might know him best as Prince William, but do you know how long his full title is? Well, here it is: His Royal Highness Prince William Arthur Philip Louis, Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn, Baron Carrickfergus, Royal Knight Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter.
