Polvo Disco – Bailando

[jwplatform pBezPnEw]

Where Dirty Dancing meets Save the Last Dance, Polvo Disco (“Disco Dust“) appeases the ears with “Bailando,” a groovy authentic track pairing electronica and popular dance music. This video displays the dichotomy of two separate worlds with more in common than one may think – the drive to dedicate themselves to something they love, which in this case, is dance.

Polvo Disco, also known as Alexander Longstaff, shows versatility in both analog and digital equipment. The chorus has a much appreciated bass line along with multiple synth patches throughout the track. “Bailando” has a sultry vibe throughout the music video. However, sexy is only one word to describe the infinite dimensions the video captures. What is inherent throughout the video is the stark contrast between the ballerina and the breakdancer. The ballerina is portrayed in a softly lit room performing graceful movements, while the breakdancer practices a much more sprightly dance choreography in a dark alley. The video then portrays another couple dancing together under dramatic lighting that captures the sensual feel of the song.
