Phil France – Transition

[jwplatform WGLRTHs2-Pqiywodl]

The music video for Phil France’s ambient, electronic and classical track, “Transition” shows the world through a fisheye lense. A small, rotating orb with a cateye like pupil shows the earth in rotation as well as the earth through travelling human eyes.  Shots of this fisheye lense orb are interspersed with Gopro cam shots filtered through lenses that recall water colors. Wind turbines, neighborhoods, and traffic heavy streets all fly by under a greenish tint. Sped up shots of lights through the rain at night fly by. Trees shoot up from the orb and the pupil becomes clearly distinguishable as the road the traveler is journeying on. Telephone wires do the same thing, spiralling up and out from the journey orb like a beautiful tone-generated geometric design. Close ups of life’s details distort the images, leaving you with more of an impression that a clear understanding of what you are witnessing. Discover for yourself the secrets within the world in the music video for “Transition.”
