Last week one of the biggest American rock bands announced a Fall United States Tour during the month of October. This morning tickets went on sale only to be sold out in the majority of the venues almost instantly with whatever precious tickets remaining costing an arm ad a leg. Luckily for Pearl Jam fans, the rock band has endorsed discounted ticket prices via several ticket shops that can be found on their website. Even without the discount, fans are expected to come out in droves to see one of the most celebrated rock bands in the world.
The tour will pick up immediately after Pearl Jam’s European tour which kicks off in Mid June. Once their business is concluded over there the grunge icons will hop across the pond for an October 1st performance in Cincinnati. 2014 will be an extremely busy year for the band, let alone lead singer Eddie Vedder who spent much of the last month playing sold out in Brazil with an upcoming July 18th concert in Meco, Portugal.
Pearl Jam has been a fixture of rock music since their 1991 album Ten that along with Nirvana’s Nevermind cemented Grunge music as the go to genre in the early 90’s. Throughout the next two decades the band became known for their slow and soulful sound with hit songs “Black”, “Alive”, Betterman”, “Even Flow” and “Last Kiss”. Recently the band has experienced a resurgence of fame and success with their most recent album Lightning Bolt debuting at number 1 in the Billboard Hot 100 chart. While Eddie Vedder has enjoyed a well deserved solo career he has always remained consistent in his devotion to Pearl Jam

Kicking off in Cincinnati, the band will make their way through the south, with two consecutive weekend performances at the Austin City Limits Music Festival. Afterwards the band will journey through the Midwestern cities of St. Paul, Milwaukee, and Detroit before closing off their tour in Denver on October 22nd.
