Paris Hilton has been around the block a few times. The 34-year-old heiress has dabbled in modeling, acting, singing, and even DJ’ing, and she shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. However, despite the fact that Hilton has spent a considerable amount of time in the spotlight and under the scrutiny of the public eye, there are still some things that many people don’t know. Number Fifteen: She Began Her Modeling Career With Donald Trump. Hilton began modeling as a teenager, and the first agency she signed with was Trump Model Management.
Number Fourteen: She Earns More Than $10 Million Every Year in Product Sales. Hilton has dipped her toes into just about every industry, and because of this, she really rakes in the cash when it comes to product sales. Her products such as fragrances, handbags, footwear, and watches help contributed to the $10 million she brings in every year in product sales.
Number Thirteen: She Played Ice Hockey. Hilton attended the Canterbury Boarding School in New Milford, Connecticut for her junior year of high school. While she was there, she played ice hockey.
Number Twelve: She Struggled in School. Hilton began her high school career at the Marywood-Palm Valley School. However, she and her family moved to the east coast, so she spent her sophomore year at the Provo Canyon School for emotionally troubled teens. She spent her junior year at the Canterbury Boarding School (mentioned above), and she was expelled for violating the rules. She spent part of her senior year at the Dwight School before dropping out.
Number Eleven: She Dated Nick Carter. After achieving success with The Simple Life, Hilton began dating singer and Backstreet Boy Nick Carter. They dated from 2003 to 2004.
Number Ten: She Got an Award for Her Scream. Hilton played a character in the 2005 film House of Wax. For her role as Paige Edwards, Hilton won the Teen Choice Award for Best Scream.
Number Nine: She Was Engaged to Another Paris. Hilton got engaged to Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis in May of 2005. Their engagement lasted until October of 2005.
