Chances are you can name at least one star of the last Summer Olympics – Michael Phelps, Usain Bolt and Missy Franklin, to name a few – but can you identify a Paralympic superstar when you see one? The video below turns this question into an experiment. Here, Paralympic superstars Luciano Dantas, Vinicius Rodrigues and Lucia Teixeira put people’s stereotypes to the test. The three athletes walk into a regular gym and begin their workouts, as per usual. However, things don’t get interesting until they really start working out hard, at which point people realize how impressive they truly are. What’s most interesting about the video isn’t these athletes’ stellar performances, but the reactions of onlookers around them. Watch for yourself below.
