Pacquiao Unveils Music Video for Mayweather Fight

Unlike his opponent, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Manny Pacquiao doesn’t need a song from Lil Wayne to walkout to on fight night. Pacquiao has recorded his own walkout song entitled “Lalaban Ako Para Sa Filipino” (translates to “I’ll Fight for the Filipino People), and he filmed a music video to go along with the song, too. According to reports, the fighter will use the record as his walkout song when he fights Mayweather on May 2nd.

Pacquiao has built quite the resume in the music industry. The world champion has released two studio albums entitled Laban Nating Lahat Ito (2006) and Pac-Man Punch (2007). The boxer has also dropped numerous singles including a recreation of Dan Hill’s “Sometimes When We Touch” in 2011, and “Bangon Kaibigan” (along with various artists) two years ago. While some believe Pacquiao’s music career was distracting his boxing career, the boxer’s team has stated he is more than ready for his bout against Mayweather. Pacquiao understands how monumental this upcoming fight is, and it has already been named the biggest fight in boxing history.

Of course, fight weekend wouldn’t be complete without the glamorous celebrity appearances. Fight weekend is expecting A-list superstars in film, music, and sports. Even though they’ve had their issues in the past, 50 Cent is expected to show his support for Mayweather during fight weekend. Justin Bieber has already confirmed he will be in Las Vegas to support Mayweather as well. Rap mogul Jay Z is hosting a post-fight party at Marquee nightclub in Las Vegas (NV). The pre-sale tickets for Jay Z’s party are already sold out, and only a limited amount of tickets will be offered the night of the fight. The general admission tickets for men will start at $100 dollars. Sorry ladies, the women admission tickets are already sold out.

For those who want to reserve a V.I.P. table at Marquee, that may cost you up to $50,000. Guests who are expected to make an appearance at Jay Z’s party include Beyoncé, P. Diddy, Rihanna, Rick Ross, Jamie Foxx, and more. Although Marquee has already been labeled the biggest after-party in Las Vegas, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Fabolous, and 2 Chainz are also hosting after-parties during fight weekend.

FDRMX Eyes: Plastic Man is a psychedelic, garage rock band from Florence, Italy. The rock trio has released a music video entitled “North Polar Land.”
