OMG Girlz Announce Break up via Social Media

The R&B group OMG (Officially Miss Guided) Girlz have decided to part ways and embark on solo careers. The group was managed by former Xscape member Tameka “Tiny” Cottle. The OMG Girlz, consisting of Zonnique Pullins (Cottle’s daughter), Bahja Rodriguez, and Breaunna Womack, were formed in 2009. The group originally featured Lil Wayne‘s daughter, Reginae Carter, but she left the group in 2010.

The OMG Girlz never released a studio album, but they did drop a number of singles including “Ain’t Nobody,” “Haterz,” “Pretty Girl Bag,” “So Official,” “Gucci This (Gucci That),” “Where The Boys At,” “Baddie,” and “Boy It’s Over.” In 2011, the group was a part of the lineup for the Scream Tour: Next Generation. The other artists on the 2011 Scream tour included Mindless Behavior, Jacob Lattimore, Diggy Simmons, and more.

The 2015 tour entitled Scream Nation: The Reintroduction Tour, kicked off last night in. St. Louis at the Peabody Opera House. The tour features Jeremih and Dej Loaf, and it scheduled for twenty-four dates in March and April. The tour was supposed to also feature Kid Ink, but the rapper announced on social media last month that he would not be joining the Scream tour this year. The rapper will instead put together his own tour, and focus on building his brand.

Besides Missouri, the Scream tour will also travel to several other places in North America including Chicago (IL), Detroit (MI), Denver (CO), Phoenix (AZ), Las Vegas (NV), New York (NY), Louisville (KY),  and more. The Scream tour’s spring leg will conclude on April 26th in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the State Theatre.

The tour is expected to also make a summer run in May, although those dates have not been announced yet. A new selection of recording artists are expected to headline the tour’s summer run. The Scream Nation: The Reintroduction Tour is a joint venture between Live Nation and Michael Mauldin. Mauldin is the producer and creator of the Scream tour, which began in 2001. In the past, the tour was headlined by Bow Wow, B2K, Ciara, Trey Songz, Chris Brown, and more. The tour’s objective is to bridge the gap between urban, hip hop, and pop music.

FDRMX Eyes: Vee Miyagi is an aspiring hip-hop artist based in Chicago, Illinois. The rapper has released his music video entitled “One.”
