Omarion’s ‘Post to Be’ is Officially Gold

Omarion‘s “Post to Be” (featuring Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko) single from his Sex Playlist album has reached Gold certification. The R&B singer announced the news on social media earlier today, and he also revealed “Post to Be” is Number 1 on Urban Radio in the US. The single is currently Number 4 on the Rhythmic chart, Number 6 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, and Number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The “Post to Be” Remix was dropped a few days ago, and it features guest appearances by Rick Ross, Ty Dolla Sign, Trey Songz, and DeJ Loaf. The West Coast-driven track was produced by DJ Mustard, giving the producer another hit record to add to his extensive resume. Some of Mustard’s other hits include Tyga’s “Rack City,” Big Sean’s “I Don’t F*ck With You” featuring E-40, Kid Ink’s “Show Me” featuring Chris Brown, Tinashe’s “2 On,” and T.I.’s “No Mediocre” featuring Iggy Azalea.

Chris Brown revealed that Omarion will be joining him on his 2015 X Tourthis summer. The tour will begin on June 10th in Hidalgo, Texas. R&B singers Sevyn Streeter and August Alsina will also be a part of the tour. So far, only three other show dates have been revealed. Those dates are June 12th in Oklahoma City (OK) at the Chesapeake Energy Arena, June 13th in Southhaven (MS) at the Landers Center, and June 14th in Biloxi (MS) at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. Omarion has dropped four studio albums as a solo artist. His first solo project entitled O was dropped ten years ago. O reached Number 1 on the Billboard 200, and it has reached platinum certification. The debut produced the singles “O,” “Touch,” and “I’m Tryna,” and it features production by Rodney Jerkins, The Neptunes, and Tha Corna Boyz. The debut follow-up album, 21, sold over 300,000 copies in the US. The Neptunes returned to provide production on the album, and 21 also featured production by Timbaland and Bryan-Michael Cox. “Entourage” and the Timbaland-produced single “Ice Box” were released as singles from the album. Omarion’s other projects include 21(2006), Ollusion (2010), and the before mentioned Sex Playlist (2014).
