Nicki Minaj Reveals North America Tour Dates

Nicki Minaj just revealed the summer dates for The Pinkprint Tour. The rapper is bringing along a few special guests including Meek Mill, Tinashe, Rae Sremmurd, and Dej Loaf. Tinashe was supposed to go on the road with Iggy Azalea, but the tour was postponed. The Pinkprint Tour will launch on July 17th in Dallas, Texas at the Gexa Energy Pavilion. The tour will also make stops in several cities in North America including Miami (FL), Holmdel (NJ), Brooklyn (NY), Toronto (ON), Atlanta (GA), Charlotte (NC), Denver (CO), Concord (CA), and more. 

Minaj said more dates will be added to the tour schedule at a later date. As of now, The Pinkprint Tour is scheduled to wrap on August 19th in Edmonton, Alberta at the Rexall Place. Yesterday, the rapper just began the European leg of her tour in Sweden with Trey Songz. Minaj’s European run will make stops in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, United Kingdom, and Ireland. The rap goddess will also headline the Wireless Festival in London on July 5th. 

Nicki Minaj’s The Pinkprint was recently certified Gold, after selling over 500,000 copies. Three of the rapper’s albums have sold over 500,000 copies, including Pink Friday (2010) and PinkFriday: Roman Reloaded (2012). Pink Friday has reached platinum status after selling over one million copies. The album produced eight singles including “Your Love,” “Check It Out” with will.i.am, “Right Thru Me,” “Moment 4 Life” featuring Drake, “Super Bass,” “Did It On’em,” “Girls Fall Lime Dominies,” and “Fly” featuring Rihanna. 

Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded peaked at Number 1 on several charts in the US including the Billboard 200, Top Rap Albums, and the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The project also topped the music charts in the UK and Canada. To date, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded has sold over 900,000 copies.

Before The Pinkprint Tour was launched, it was met with tragedy when two of Minaj’s employees were stabbed in Philadelphia. De’Von Pickett, the tour manager, died from his injuries. Eric Parker was severely wounded, but he managed to survive. Earlier this month, Pierce Boykin was charged with the murder of De’Von Pickett, and he is also being charged with attempted murder in the stabbing of Eric Parker.

FDRMX Eyes: French artist Xavier Boscher is a singer-songwriter who has released his music video entitled “The Origin of My Well-Being.” The music video features Boscher singing and a woman who lives in the desert.
