As many DJs, artists, and producers begin to leave the Dubstep scene in fear of the bass-heavy genre dying, a few striking handful in the modern world use the fluctuating state as an opportunity to showcase their talent even more than before. From underground to mainstream, the lifestyle itself has never been more alive than it has this past year. Seeing the incredible rise of several low-key producers, the ear-splitting sounds are yet to wipe from memory of the raving nation.

A hot act that’s recently risen onto the radar has been that of American born & raised artist, MUST DIE! With releases on reputable imprints including Never Say Die Records, Play Me, Firepower, and more, he’s now returned with the announcement of his forthcoming debut LP on Skrillex’s OWSLA, ‘Death & Magic‘. It was really only a matter of time until we expected to see something like this, and we can only wait to see what the future holds for this talented producer. Having only released singles, remixes, bootlegs, and more in that past, we can now anticipate to enjoy the launch of a full piece of work from him.  A wish from many fans has been to see a MUST DIE! & Skrillex collaboration appear on the album, which will hopefully happen (HOPEFULLY).

To give us a tease on what to expect within the LP, MUST DIE! was kind enough as to release a brand new single simultaneously. Entitled “Hellcat“, the track was a true unorthodox approach to house music that blended in a unique fusion of dubstep. The song got mixed reactions from the audience, but we’re crossing our fingers that the rest of the collection is this promising. It’s been truly amazing to see such a fresh producer making big waves in an over-rinsed industry. MUST DIE! is notorious for adding his own twist to things, and everything he’s been doing these past couple months have been nothing but that. The release is slated to be unveiled on the magical date of September 30th (nearly a month from now). Keep your eyes peeled for when it hits stores, you won’t be disappointed.
