The FBI’s list of the most wanted criminals is filled with people who have committed heinous crimes but haven’t yet been caught. These 10 most wanted criminals still at large are some of the worst offenders of them all. Check out their stories and the amazing reasons they haven’t been caught yet below.
Number Ten: Yaser Abdel Said. On January 1, 2008, Yaser Abdel Said shot and killed his two daughters in a taxi because they weren’t conservative enough. He currently has multiple counts of capital murder charged against him, and there is a $100,000 reward for any information leading to his arrest.
Number Nine: Fidel Urbina. Mexican national fugitive Fidel Urbina has been charged with rape, first-degree murder, and kidnapping. He was working as an auto mechanic in Chicago when he raped a waitress in her car and also in her home. He also raped and murdered a young girl named Gabriela Torres. The manhunt for him is ongoing.
Number Eight: Eduardo Ravelo. Eduardo Ravelo was the leader of the Barrio Azteca gang and is currently wanted for charges of murder and drug trafficking. He is believed to have altered his appearance to escape the police, and it is thought that he is currently hiding with his wife and children. There is a $100,000 reward for any information that will lead to his arrest.
Number Seven: William Bradford Bishop Jr. Former U.S. foreign service officer William Bradford Bishop Jr. murdered his wife, mother and three kids in their own home. Before he left work that day, he told his secretary he didn’t feel well, gathered supplies and a full tank of gas, and went home to murder his family. There is $100,000 reward for any information leading to his arrest.
Number Six: Robert William Fisher. Similar to Bishop, Robert William Fisher murdered his wife and two kids. He shot his wife in the back of the head and slit his kids’ throats from ear to ear before burning down his house and fleeing. There is a $100,000 reward for any information leading to his arrest.
Number Five: Alexis Flores. Honduran fugitive Alexis Flores kidnapped, raped and murdered a 5-year-old girl in Philadelphia in 2000. The police found her strangled and wrapped in a trash bag. There is a $100,000 reward for any information leading to his arrest.
Number Four: Victor Manuel Gerena. Though Victor Manuel Gerena didn’t commit any murder, there is a $1 million reward for any information leading to his arrest. He worked at a Wells Fargo, which enabled him to commit the crime with ease. He injected his colleagues with a non-lethal sedative, stole $7 million and fled.
Number Three: Jason Derek Brown. Jason Derek Brown committed first-degree murder and armed robbery when he stole $56,000 from an AMC theater. He escaped on a bicycle and was never found. There is a $100,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
Number Two: Glen Stewart Godwin. Self-employed man Glen Steward Godwin needed some money when he decided to rob his drug dealer. He stabbed the drug dealer 26 times with a butcher knife, brought him to the desert and attached explosives to him. He was eventually arrested in 1983 and went to Folsom prison. However, with the help of his wife, he escaped four years later with a hacksaw and handmade raft. There is currently a $100,000 reward for any information leading to his arrest.
Number One: Semion Mogilevich. The story of Semion Mogilevich is a strange one. He is an organized crime boss living in Moscow very freely, despite committing numerous heinous crimes, including drug trafficking and running a prostitution ring. However, he is so powerful and entrenched in so many powerful peoples’ lives that the police have been unable to catch him, and he is believed to be the boss of the most Russian mafia syndicates in the world.
