Celebrity tabloids live for the opportunity to start drama, and that is exactly what one of them did when they alleged that pop stars Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez were pregnant. Making things even more dramatic, the tabloid claims that they were pregnant by the same man. Who was this mystery impregnator? According to the news source, the new joint baby daddy is none other than celebrity bad boy (who has recently turned over a new leaf) Justin Bieber.
Reports went on to state that Miley Cyrus hooked up with Justin Bieber while the “Baby” singer was on one of his frequent breaks with longtime girlfriend Selena Gomez. Their passionate affair is said to have taken a turn for the worse when Cyrus called Bieber saying she was fearful that she was pregnant. She followed up that call a few weeks later with the news that “nature took care of the problem,” which has been taken as a reference to a possible miscarriage.
The already dramatic situation allegedly took a turn for the worse when Gomez found out. Sources claim that she “flipped out,” placing all blame on Cyrus and “believing she seduced him (Bieber) just to get pregnant with his child.” The tabloid continues to spout “information,” claiming that Gomez was also pregnant by Bieber in 2012. This only made Gomez more furious.
Since the news has been released, Miley Cyrus has taken to her Instagram account where the musician poked fun at the dramatic headline. The musician posted the tabloid’s cover, commenting on the ridiculous claim. “And by the same man we mean Justin Bieber,” Cyrus captioned the photo referencing the drama of the headline. Although she hasn’t outright denied the claims, it is evident that she is laughing it all off as ridiculous tabloid fodder.
Ironically enough, just a few days before the tabloid was released, Cyrus did post a compilation photo of her and Bieber making a similar pose. This photo she captioned with the hashtag #TruffleButter in reference to Nicki Minaj, Drake, and Lil Wayne’s song of the same name. Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have both yet to reply to the allegations.
Although they were once close, fellow former Disney stars Cyrus and Gomez have been on the outs for quite some time now. Rumors of an ongoing feud have continued since Cyrus brought a cardboard cutout of Gomez onstage with her during a set on her Bangerz world tour. She is said to have held the cutout with her while singing her brazen cut “FU.” While neither of them have denied claims of their feud, it seems as though Cyrus at least isn’t blaming her “baby daddy” Bieber for the drama.
