Meghan Trainor’s ‘Title’ Is Number One in UK

Meghan Trainor‘s Title album debuted at Number 1 on the UK Albums Chart. The album was released in the US on January 9th, and it debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard 200 as well. The project has also topped the album charts in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and Scotland. Title features the number one song “All About That Bass” and the hit single “Lips Are Movin’.” Trainor managed to bump Mark Ronson from his number one position on the UK album charts. Ronson’s Uptown Special fell to Number 3 on the charts, while Ed Sheeran‘s X claimed the Number 2 spot.

The pop singer has been fighting off rumors about dating One Direction‘s Harry Styles ever since she revealed they wrote a song together. The song Trainor and Styles wrote is entitled “London Lights.” She briefly spoke about the song during an interview with Capital FM, “I love Harry Styles. He made me laugh, we kicked out the engineer and just had time together and wrote this amazing song and he had the same comedy as I did.” Trainor added, “I remember smiling and being like, ‘he’s normal, that’s so cool.'”

The radio station also asked the pop singer to play a game called “Lips, Wife, Leave It,” which is the same as the “F***, Marry, Kill” game. The singer’s list of guys to choose from were One Direction’s Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Harry Styles. She played the game, but refused to include Harry Styles. Trainor did however tell Capital FM she would “wife” Niall Horan, “Niall, that’s the blonde one? The sweet one? I’ll wifey him. He came up to me and was just a gentleman, just the nicest guy ever. I’ll marry him, he’s great.” There is a strong possibility Trainor will make a contribution on Justin Bieber‘s new album. She may write a song for Bieber, or the two singers may record a duet. In the past, Bieber praised Trainor for covering his “Mistletoe” song, and he recorded a rendition of her “All About That Bass” smash. So far, details regarding Beiber’s new album have not been released to the public.
