Following the release of his new album The Pale Emperor, Marilyn Manson has announced he is embarking on a second leg of his Hell or Hallelujah Tour. He previously played a select handful of dates earlier this year, only hitting major markets. Like AC/DC’s upcoming North American tour, Manson is heavily hitting Canada with only twelve dates in the States. This might come as a surprise to some fans who assumed Manson, who guest-starred on the final season of Sons of Anarchy, might be reluctant to leave Hollywood again.
This tour sees Manson playing much smaller venues. The Georgia Theater, which is the first venue he returns to in the States, only holds 860 people, which is a dramatic shift. The last time Manson played Georgia was with Rob Zombie in 2012, and they preformed at Aaron’s Amphitheater (Lakewood, GA) which holds about 19,000 guests.
Manson’s backing band for the tour will include Stolen Babies drummer Gil Sharone, guitarist Tyler Bates and the return of longtime bassist and fan favorite, Twiggy Ramirez. His setlist for the tour will feature songs from his Pale Emperor album as well as the following classics: “The Dope Show,” “The Beautiful People,” “Mobscene,” “Disposable Teens,” “This Is the New Shit,” “Rock Is Dead,” and “Irresponsible Hate Anthem.”
