‘Tis the season! A Mariah Carey Christmas film is currently in development. The film doesn’t have a title yet, but it will be produced by Brett Ratner (Hercules and Tower Heist) and New Line Cinema. “It’s a little bit about how music can take you back in time. It will be everything you hope a Christmas movie with Mariah Carey would be,” Ratner told Entertainment Weekly. The Christmas film will be written by David Diamond and David Weissman, who both wrote the screenplay for The Family Man. The soundtrack will feature songs by Mariah Carey, who released the most successful Christmas album in music history in 1994.
