Madonna Takes Dig at Drake During Interview

Madonna can’t seem to escape her onstage encounter with Drake at Coachella last month. As previously reported, the singer and Drake’s make out session onstage didn’t go as smooth as she would have hoped. After the kissing fest, Drake immediately wiped his mouth and he appeared to have a disgusted look on his face. Even though the rapper tried to do a little damage control, after his reaction was talked about on all the media circuits, it seems Madonna wasn’t too happy with how Drake reacted to their kiss.

The pop singer recently appeared on a taping on the Live with Romeo’s Saturday Night Online show. She answered viewers’ questions during the taping, and the singer was asked if Drake was a good kisser. “You asked the million dollar question. I kissed a girl, and I liked it,” the singer answered. The pop goddess was also asked, “if you could give a younger Madonna advice, what would it be?” Madonna answered,”Don’t kiss Drake. No matter how many times he begs you to.” Madonna’s answer seems to suggest the two artists’ kiss was not only planned, but the rapper begged the pop singer to kiss him. According to reports, the Toronto rapper claimed Madonna kissed him unexpectedly. As of yet, Drake has not responded to Madonna’s recent statements about him.

Madonna’s Rebel Heart album officially dropped in March. The project entered the Billboard 200 at the Number 2 spot, and it reached the top spot on the album charts in Australia, Canada, Germany, Belgium, and Japan. “Living for Love” and “Ghosttown” have been released as singles from number one album. “Living for Love” became Madonna’s 44th single to top the US Hot Dance Club chart. The hit song also impacted the singles chart in Canada, Germany, France, and the UK. “Ghosttown” reached Number 13 on the Hot Dance Club Songs chart, and it peaked at Number 18 on the Adult Contemporary chart as well. The music video for “Ghosttown” featured a guest appearance from Empire’s Terrence Howard, and it was directed by Jonas Akerlund. Akerlund also directed the pop singer’s “Ray of Light” video, for which he won a Grammy Award for Best Music Video.
