Madonna Premieres Video Exclusively on Tidal

Madonna premiered her “Bitch, I’m Madonna” (featuring Nicki Minaj) music video exclusively on Tidal. The star-studded video features cameos by Beyoncé, Kanye West, Diplo, Rita Ora, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, and comedian Chris Rock. As of 1:00pm (Eastern standard time), some Tidal subscribers complained that they were unable to view the music. “We apologize to all the fans excited to watch the #BitchImMadonna video, we’re working on a fix. We’ll have it up and running soon,” the company wrote on Twitter. According to Tidal’s most recent posts, it appears the music video issues have been resolved.

“Bitch, I’m Madonna” is the third single released from Madonna’s Rebel Heart album. The project may not be considered as the icon’s best work, but it still managed to top the charts in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, and Switzerland. Rebel Heart narrowly missed the opportunity to go to Number 1 on the Billboard 200. The Empire soundtrack sold 9,000 more copies than Rebel Heart (sold 121,000), earning the Number 1 spot. The other singles dropped from the chart-topping album include “Living for Love” and “Ghosttown.”

Madonna’s Rebel Heart worldwide tour will launch this summer. The first date on the tour is scheduled on August 29th in Miami (FL). In September, the icon will have shows in New York (NY) on the 16th, 17th, and 19th; Quebec City (Canada) on the 21st; Philadelphia (PA) on the 24th; Boston (MA) on the 26th; and Chicago (IL) on the 28th.
