Music heavyweights are continuing to lend their support to Jay Z’s TIDAL music and video streaming service. Pop icon Madonna premiered a sneak peek of her music video for “Ghosttown” on the streaming service. The full music video is expected to be uploaded on TIDAL soon; until then, fans can watch the 16-second “Ghosttown” preview now.
Madonna just performed “Ghosttown” on the iHeartRadio Music Awards last month, and she was joined onstage by Taylor Swift (playing the guitar). The legend also performed the single on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last month. Since its release on March 13th, “Ghosttown” has reached Number 20 on the US Adult Contemporary chart, and Number 14 on the charts in Finland. The single has also charted in Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, Belgium, France, Hungary, Italy, and Scotland.
“Ghosttown” is from Madonna’s Rebel Heart album. The project reached Number 1 on the charts in Australia, becoming Madonna’s eleventh album to top the charts in Australia. Rebel Heart also reached Number 1 in Canada, Belgium, Japan, and more. Madonna has had eleven albums reach the top of the UK Albums chart too, but Rebel Heart failed to claim the top position this time around. The album had to settle for second place on the UK chart in its debut week, and it settled for Number 2 on the US Billboard 200 as well.
Madonna will launch the US leg of her Rebel Heart Tour this summer. The first two dates on the tour will be on August 29th and the 30th in Miami (FL). In September, Madonna’s remaining North America dates include stops in Atlanta (GA) on the 2nd; San Juan (Puerto Rico) on the 5th; Montreal (Quebec, Canada) on the 9th and 10th; Washington (DC) on the 12th; New York (NY) on the 16th, 17th, and 19th; Philadelphia (PA) on the 24th; Boston (MA) on the 26th; Chicago (IL) on the 28th. In October, the Rebel Heart Tour will travel to Detroit (MI) on the 1st; Atlantic City (NJ) on the 3rd; Toronto (Ontario, Canada) on the 5th and 6th; Saint Paul (MN) on the 8th; Edmonton (Alberta, Canada) on the 11th and 12th; Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada) on the 14th; Portland (OR) on the 17th; San Jose (CA) on the 19th; Glendale (AZ) on the 22nd; Las Vegas (NV) on the 24th; and Inglewood (CA) on the 27th.
