Award winning country singer Luke Bryan has just announced the dates for his seventh annual Luke Bryan Farm Tour. The eight date tour starts September 30th in Fort Wayne, Indiana at M&J Farms and runs through October 10th in Valdosta, Georgia at MJ Taylor Farms. Other farming communities that will be included in the tour are Starkville, Lexington, Knoxville, Macon, Columbia, and Tuscaloosa, with a portion of each city’s ticket sales going towards local college scholarships. While tickets for the general public go on sale July 10th, pre-sale tickets will be available both July 7th (for members of Bryan’s fan club) and July 8th. The tour, which is sponsored by Cabela’s, Red Gold, Miller Lite, Citi, and Alliance Tire Group, is also offering VIP tickets for each date. The Harvest Time VIP tickets start at $159 and include early admission, VIP only restrooms, a private cash bar, a parking pass, and more. Last year’s tour sold over one-hundred thousand tickets and it is already being predicted that this year’s sales will beat that.
Bryan, who is the son of a peanut farmer, began his career in 2007 with his debut album I’ll Stay Me. His single “Country Man” peaked at number ten on the Hot Country Songs chart, while “We Rode in Trucks,” the album’s second single peaked at number thirty-three and his debut single “All My Friends Say,” reached number five. Bryan participated in writing ten out the album’s eleven tracks and even received a gold certification for it.
Since then, Bryan has released three studio albums and has become the only modern country artist to release an album that has six number one singles on both Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs chart and the Mediabase Country chart. His fifth studio album, Kill the Lights, is due for release early this August and includes the single “Kick the Dust Up.” In a recent interview, the Georgia born artist said that Kill the Lights will be more country than his previous album and that it will include songs with a lot of “depth,” as well as songs that lack maturity.
