Luke Bryan Falls Off Stage

This Thursday Country singer Luke Bryan chose one of the least graceful ways to exit the stage. During a performance of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ hit song “Can’t Hold Us” the 37 year old singer began to enthusiastically jump up and down. Before long the stage couldn’t hold the manic performance as Bryan took a large tumble off of the stage. Luckily, he wasn’t critically hurt and stood right back up to a cheering audience. Although he did receive stitches for his injury, Bryan would later joke about the incident with a concise tweet: “I’m Good. Few Stitches”

It seems that falling off the stage is becoming Bryan’s painful trademark as this is not the first time Luke Bryan has endured a tumble during a concert in North Carolina. “The last time I was in North Carolina, I busted my a**,” Bryan said of the past event. Although both incidents did little to hurt him perhaps Bryan will be a bit more cautious the next time he performs in the Tar Heel State.

Bryan has been active in the country music scene since the early 2000’s beginning his career as a writer for artists such as Travis Tritt and Billy Currington. In 2007 he signed with Capitol Records and has since released an album every two years. Bryan hit an important milestone a few weeks ago when he took home the Billboard Music Award for Top Country Artist and Top Country Album for his 2013 release “Crash My Party”. In addition, Bryan has received the Entertainer of the Year award from the Academy of Country Music.

Videos of both musical wipeout can be seen on Youtube with the most recent one getting a lot of social buzz already. The initial February 17th fall in Greensboro can be seen here and you can find yesterday’s Charlotte tumble here. Both are good for a laugh to get you in the mood for the weekend.
