Ludacris’ Wife Is Pregnant, Couples’ First Child

Ludacris and his wife, Eudoxie Mbouguiyengue, are expecting their first child. Mbouguiyengue made the announcement on social media, by posting a photo of Ludacris kissing her baby belly. The couple got married last year, which was on the same day he proposed to Mbouguiyengue. The baby will be the rapper’s third child, and the first for his wife. Ludacris has a 13-year old daughter from a previous relationship. He also has a 1-year old daughter, for which he just recently won full custody of.

Ludacris’ mainstream rap career began in 1999, when he released his debut album, Incognegro. The project produced  two hit singles “Ho,” and “What’s Your Fantasy” featuring Shawnna. Ludacris would go on to drop seven more studio albums including Back for the First Time, Word of Mouf, Chicken-n-Beer, The Red Light District, and Battle of the Sexes. Fans have been patiently waiting for his Ludaversal album, which was supposed to be released in 2012. The rapper has put out four singles from the project, “Jingalin,” “Representin,” and “Rest of My Life,” but the records failed to make an impact on the music charts. Last year, he put out another single with Jeremih, Wiz Khalifa, and Cashmere Cat entitled “Party Girls.” The record reached Number 36 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, and Number 13 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart. Ludacris has not revealed if any of the first three singles will be featured on Ludaversal, although it is highly unlikely.

During an interview with Billboard magazine, Ludacris spoke about Ludaversal, which will drop on March 31st. “I can definitely tell you in a nutshell there are a bunch of songs that define moments and are very emotional just for the simple fact this will be my most personal album to date,” the rapper told Billboard. He also talked about his song, “Burning Bridges,” which is available to download for free on Google Play in the US. “You realize being in the industry and having fame and fortune, it’s inevitable you’re going to have to sacrifice certain relationships, because people think you’re the one changing when you get all of this success,” Ludacris stated. To date, none of the rapper’s songs in the last few years have lived up to the massive success of his singles, “Stand Up,” “Get Back,” “Move Bitch,” “Rollout (My Business),” and “Southern Hospitality.”

FDRMX Eyes: Phono Emergency Tool’s latest music video is entitled “Floating So Fast.” The rock band is comprised of three members and is based in Italy.
