Uncaged won a Grammy Award for Best Country Album in 2013, and it featured four hit singles “The Wind,” “Goodbye In Her Eyes,” “Jump Right In,” and “Sweet Annie.” To date, all of their projects have sold over a million copies each, and The Foundation was certified triple-platinum. Ten of the band’s songs have topped the Billboard Country Songs charts including, “Chicken Fried,” “Highway 20,” “As She’s Walking Away,” “Cold Weather,” and “Knee Deep.”
This weekend, the Zac Brown Band will be the musical guests on Saturday Night Live. The band told Rolling Stone magazine that they will perform new tracks from Jekyll + Hyde. Their live performance on Saturday Night Live is a big deal for a show that rarely features country musical guests. Tim McGraw performed on the show in 2008, and Taylor Swift hosted and performed on the show the following year. In 2011, Lady Antebellum was the musical guest on SNL. The group was the latest country act on SNL, until Blake Shelton hosted and performed on the comedy show this year. Actor Chris Hemsworth (The Avengers and Thor) will host Saturday Night Live tomorrow night.
FDRMX Eyes: Boris & Bratya Grim is a band based in Russia. Their music video for “Dead Season” features a young group of girls from the young pioneer movement in Soviet Russia.
