The famous stars of today seem to be able to get away with doing whatever they want, including dating underage girls. It is definitely not fair, and it definitely isn’t right. Number Ten: R. Kelly. Though praised for his great voice and R&B records, R. Kelly was proven to be a sex offender. A tape was brought to legal attention with proof that R. Kelly had not only engaged in sexual acts with, but also urinated in the mouth of, a 15-year-old girl. However upon trial, the star was acquitted. Later, Kelly strikes again when he forms a relationship with pop star Aaliyah when she was only fourteen.
Number Nine: Joel Madden. Lead singer of rock band Good Charlotte, most people are aware of the relationship Joel Madden formed with pop star Hillary Duff. What most people don’t know, is that she was only 16 years old when they started dating. At the time, he was 25. The relationship was kept from the media, but emerged when she turned 18. When questioned about it in an interview, she admitted to losing her virginity to the rock star when she was underage.
Number Eight: Wilmer Valderrama. Valderrama got his big break from the television series That 70’s Show, on which he played the character “Fez”. He also starred on the show Yo Momma. However, he too had a taste for the young stars. His first pursuit was a relationship with Mandy Moore; at the time, he was twenty years old, and she was only sixteen. Later, he moved on to a short fling with Lindsey Lohan while she was just seventeen. After Lindsey, he pursued a short relationship with Demi Lovato in 2010, who was also seventeen.
Number Seven: Sonny Bono. Before they were married and performing on stages together, Sonny and Cher were dating. He helped her to get singing gigs, and she later dropped out of high school and moved in with Sonny as his “housekeeper”. What most people don’t know, though, is that Cher was only sixteen at the time.
Number Six: Jerry Seinfeld. As arguably one of the most successful comedians of all time, Jerry Seinfeld could have almost any woman he wanted. The one he chose was 29 years younger than he was, a 17-year-old high school senior named Shoshana. He claimed to have fallen in love with her, and their relationship flourished for four years. After which, Shoshana decided she couldn’t handle the publicity.
