Toni Braxton was the first female to ever be signed at Laface records. It goes without saying that she blew the producers out of the water with her singing!

Number Fourteen: Her Family was Conservative

Toni Braxton grew up in a family that was quite conservative and religious. For years, her family insisted that she listen to nothing but gospel music. It was only later in her life that she was able to listen to other types of music.

Number Thirteen: Autism Is in Her Family

Something that not a lot of people know is the fact that her child has autism. Diezel, her son, has been diagnosed with the autism for at least the last 10 years. To this day, Braxton still gets emotional about it.

Number Twelve: Toni Braxton Has Lupus

Unfortunately, Toni Braxton has lupus, which is an autoimmune disease which could take her life. It often makes her feel extremely tired after she preforms. It must be horrible to deal with that.

Number Eleven: She Has a Weird Pet Peeve

Something which irks Toni Braxton is rather strange. In the past, she has said that she hates it when people talk to her with foam in their mouth. Apparently this has happened to her at least one too many times.

Number Ten: She Was Bankrupt More Than Once

It sucks to be in debt, regardless of how famous you may be. At one time, Toni Braxton was nearly 50 million dollars in debt due to owing money with creditors, Tiffany, and more.

Number Nine: She Could Have Been in Playboy

In 2001, Playboy approached her to pose in their famous magazine, but because she had young sons at the time, she declined the offer. Posing for the magazine or not, Toni Braxton is a beautiful woman.
