Tom Brady: 15 Things You Didn’t Know (Part 2)

We already brought you part one of our list of 15 things you probably did not know about Tom Brady, and now we’re back with part two! Check out eight more fascinating facts about the quarterback of the New England Patriots that you definitely (probably) did not know below. You might be surprised by what you find out!

Number Eight: He Is Specific About His Autographs. In fact, Brady refuses to sign photos where his mechanics are poorly represented or look bad. Considering that photographs often catch athletes in their not-so-great moments, we bet he’s had to turn down several autograph opportunities.

Number Seven: He Walks Out to Jay Z. Brady is allegedly a big fan of Jay Z and Tupac, and his walk out song is actually Jay Z’s “Public Service Announcement.”

Number Six: He Learned How to Throw a Football From Tony Graziani. Brady is four years younger than ex-NFL star Tony Graziani, so when Brady was at camp at the College of San Mateo, Graziani was his counselor. It was there that Brady learned how to throw a football from him.

Number Five: He Did Not Start for his High School Team. This might be hard to believe, but Brady barely got any playing time during his first year playing football in high school. It was not until his sophomore year that he got more time on the field, although that may be because his best friend was the starter on the team and decided to conveniently quit to focus on basketball.

Number Four: He Spent High School in Good Company. Brady went to the same high school as Lynn Swann and Barry Bonds! However, they did not go to high school at the same time.

Number Three: He Likes Avocado Ice Cream. Brady has admitted that he enjoys snacking on none other than avocado ice cream. We would have guessed he was more of a vanilla guy, but now you know!

Number Two: He Plans Ahead. Brady enjoys planning ahead so much that he likes to map his life out an astounding three years in advance. He also does cognitive exercises every night before bed.

Number One: He Wants to Play Until He’s 48. Most NFL players retire before they’re 30, but Brady wants to stay on the field until he’s almost 50! Only time will tell if he will be able to make his dream a reality.
