We already brought you part one of our list of 15 things you probably did not know about Tim McGraw, and now we’re back with part two! Check out eight more fascinating facts about the country music singer and musician that you definitely (probably) did not know below. You might be surprised by what you find out!

Number Eight: He Gets Self-Conscious About His Forehead

Yes, there’s a reason McGraw wears hats all the time! The singer has called his forehead a “five-head” and has an extensive hat collection to cover it up. He also just really likes hats.

Number Seven: He’s Not Big on Technology

We already mentioned McGraw’s aversion to social media in the first part of this list, but the same can be said of his interactions with technology in general. McGraw has said that he occasionally sends emails, but that’s about it.

Number Six: Tim McGraw Is Country Music’s First Metrosexual

It’s true! “Metrosexual” is a term used to describe straight men who care quite greatly about their appearance and take care of themselves to the point where they might be considered high-maintenance. W Magazine named McGraw “country music’s first metrosexual.”

Number Five: His First Name Isn’t Tim

In fact, it’s Samuel. His middle name is Timothy.

Number Four: He Never Spends More Than Three Days Away From His Wife

It’s no secret that McGraw is married to Faith Hill. Well, if you’ve ever wondered how they keep the spark alive after all these years, it might have something to do with the fact that they never spend more than three days away from each other.

Number Three: He’s a College Dropout

McGraw dropped out of college on a special day, too. He dropped out the day that Keith Whitley – his country music hero – died.

Number Two: He Used to Live on Kenny Chesney’s Block

Maybe there was something in the neighborhood’s water because McGraw once lived on the same block as fellow country music star Kenny Chesney. Imagine that!

Number One: He Proposed to Faith in a Dressing Room

It might not sound romantic, but it’s true – McGraw proposed to Faith Hill in the dressing room of his trailer while he was on tour in 1995. Faith didn’t say anything until he went out on stage, at which point she wrote “Yes” on his dressing room mirror. We hope you enjoyed our list of 15 things you didn’t know about Tim McGraw!
