We already brought you part one of our list of 15 things you probably did not know about The Black Eyed Peas, and now we’re back with part two! Check out eight more fascinating facts about the quirky hip hop group that you definitely (probably) did not know below. You might be surprised by what you find out!

Number Eight: They Barely Missed a Major Earthquake. The Black Eyed Peas recorded their video for “Just Can’t Get Enough” in Japan in 2011. They filmed it just one week before the earthquake and tsunami hit Tohoku.

Number Seven: They Did a 3D Film. The film was released in 2010, and it documents the group while on tour. It was directed by Ted Kenney, and it is called Black Eyed Peas 3D: Live.

Number Six: They Made the Biggest Selling Single of 2003. “Where Is the Love?” was The Black Eyed Peas’ first commercially successful single, and it was actually the biggest selling single of 2003! It also spent seven weeks at number one in the United Kingdom.

Number Five: They Performed Their Biggest Concert in Brazil. The Black Eyed Peas performed for more than one million people in Rio de Janeiro on New Year’s Eve in 2006. It was their biggest concert ever, and it still is to this day.

Number Four: They Performed for Oprah. In September of 2009, The Black Eyed Peas performed at Oprah’s 24th Season Kickoff Party. The party took place on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, and there were over 20,000 dancers attending as a flash mob.

Number Three: They Are Charitable. As a group, The Black Eyed Peas have performed several times for charities. In 2009, they performed at a concert dedicated to disabled children in Mexico, along with other artists.

Number Two: They Founded a School. The group founded a school devoted to encouraging young and creative children to cultivate their music and media-related skills. The school is located in Manhattan, New York.

Number One: They Have Their Own Video Game. In November of 2011, The Black Eyed Peas Experience was released, which is a dance video game designed for the Kinect and the Wii. The game was developed in part by Ubisoft.
