Reddit is one of those places on the Internet where you can always come across a heartwarming story. Recently, one Reddit user decided to share an incredibly heartwarming story on the subreddit “Little humans being bros.” The story was one that a mother shared about her daughter’s first period.

It seems that one mother decided to share a story with all of her Facebook friends. Her daughter had run into an uncomfortable situation while taking the bus back home from school. However, she got help on the bus from an unlikely person.

Getting your first period can be a pretty traumatic and scary time for a young girl. It seems that this mother’s daughter happened to get her first period on the school bus. It seems that her daughter was incredibly embarrassed by the situation and didn’t know what she should do.

The mother started off the story by stating, “My daughter started her period on the bus ride home today… and a boy older than her.. that she doesn’t really know.. pulled her aside and whispered in her ear that she had a stain on the back of her pants.” So did the young boy get her attention to embarrass her?

The young girl came home and promptly told her mother all about the story. “She said she was kind of embarrassed and originally said it’s okay.. but the boy insisted and told her ‘I have sisters, it’s all good!‘” The mom was so grateful that she had to share the story for one big reason!

As such a heartwarming story the post of course went viral. Everyone was so happy to see a young man stepping up and helping a girl in an embarrassing situation. The story eventually got posted onto Reddit where everyone gathered around to applaud the young man.

Many of the top comments on the Reddit post were praising the young man for his behavior. One user wrote, “What an awesome kid. This highlights the importance of teaching boys about girls bodies, and vice versa. Understanding engenders compassion.” Still, more people had a lot to say…
