Stevie Wonder’s Album is Back on the Charts

After Stevie Wonder‘s Grammy Tribute special aired on CBS, his album The Definitive Collection, reaped the benefits. The album sold 11,000 copies in one week, which was a 205 percent increase. Another Wonder album also made its way back to the Billboard 200 Albums chart. Songs in the Key of Life sold 10,000 copies, and it is currently Number 49 on the music chart. The iconic singer recently discussed how much of an honor it was to be recognized by the Grammy Awards‘ committee. The singer told Billboard magazine that he was thankful to God, and thankful for everything he has achieved through music. Wonder told the magazine that all he ever wanted to do was music, and he is grateful the world has embraced his musical talents. Wonder’s tribute concert featured performances from Beyonce, Babyface, Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran, and more.

Sam Hunt’s Montevallo album has also made an impact on the Billboard 200 chart this week. The project moved up to the Number 15 position, which is just days after Hunt attended the Country Radio Seminar in Nashville. Montevallo produced two hit songs, “Leave the Night On” and “Take Your Time.” Both records peaked at Number 1 on the Billboard US Hot Country Songs chart. While he was at the seminar, Hunt spoke to Billboard magazine about his success in country music. The singer believes fans have gravitated to him because of his realness. “I think that people in general appreciate honesty and not trying to cook something up just to fit a mold that would be beneficial for you,” Hunt told Billboard.

The singer said he always approaches music by being true to himself, and that’s how he is able to truly connect with people who come to his shows. Sam Hunt is currently on his Lipstick Graffiti Tour, which launched last month. The tour is traveling to cities all over North America, including Chicago (IL), Lincoln (NE), Denver (CO), Columbia (MO), Fort Lauderdale (FL), and more. The Lipstick Graffiti Tour wraps in Wisconsin on April 4th. Hunt will also perform at the Country to Country music festival in London on March 7th. The festival also features performances from Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, and many more.
