Number Eight: She Got Her First Production Deal When She Was Just 14. Ora began her singing career by attending open mic nights in London. One special night, a Grammy Award-winning producer noticed her and signed her when she was just 14 years old.
Number Seven: She Was 18 When She Got Her Big Break. Ora flew to New York to meet Jay-Z when she was just 18 years old. Jay was so impressed that he signed her to his label, Roc Nation, within 48 hours of meeting her.
Number Six: She Liked to Party. Growing up, Ora was a party girl. Though she would attend open mic night to sing, she also drank a lot as a teenager, and she attended many parties.
Number Five: She Is Professionally Trained. When Ora was young, she attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School, which is extremely prestigious. Other celebrities who have attended this school include Amy Winehouse, Leona Lewis, and Nicholas Hoult.
Number Four: Before She Was Famous, She Was on YouTube. Ora used to perform covers of other songs and post them to YouTutbe, and she gained a lot of attention because of it. She even collaborated with DJ Fresh, who discovered her on YouTube, and together they made a song that reached number one on the U.K. charts.
Number Three: She Loves Hot Sauce. Specifically, Ora is a big fan of Tabasco. She has admitted that she will even put the hot sauce on cereal or fruit if she wants to.
Number Two: She Is Influenced by the Spice Girls. In an interview with Elle magazine, Ora said that the Spice Girls were one of her biggest influences. She said, “I just remember watching [the Spice Girls] – not even meeting them – and I was completely mesmerised.”
Number One: She Can Act. In fact, Ora was even on an episode of 90210! She also played the part of Christian Grey’s sister in 50 Shades of Grey.
