Red Bull is heading back to Miami in March for its third annual Guest House event. The event hosts pool parties and record label showcases as part of Miami Music Week. Guest House 2015 will be held at South Beach’s Sagamore Hotel during March 26th through March 29th. The artist lineup has not been announced yet, but the event’s party hosts have been named. Guest House will feature seven showcases during the four-day events. The showcases will be hosted by Lil Wayne‘s Young Money entertainment, New York club icons Ladyfag and Seva Granik, dance music legends Guy Gerber and Seth Troxler, and Los Angeles-based HARD Events.
EDM newcomers Kygo and Thomas Jack will also host a tropical house-themed event as well. The four-day event will feature artist interviews and DJ sets, which will broadcast on Red Bull Music Academy Radio. Attendees will have access to documentary screenings from the International Music Summit, which will include film-related interviews. The Traktor Cookery School event will pair famous DJs with chefs who will prepare meals poolside. More showcases and events will be announced at a later date.
Last year’s event featured showcases from eight record labels including Skrillex‘s OWSLA, Diplo‘s Mad Decent, and Disclosure‘s PMR label. The 2014 artist lineup included Skrillex, Waka Flocka Flame, Giorgio Moroder, Trinidad James, Elliphant, and The Partysquad. HARD founder, Gary Richards, said he is looking forward to returning to Red Bull’s Guest House. “There’s nothing better than hearing dope tunes under the Miami sun. We’ve worked with Red Bull for years and they do their thing better than anyone in the business,” Richards explained.
Red Bull is also hosting an event called Thre3style this month. The event is a worldwide DJ competition that features DJ battles in a series of shows, until the final DJ is crowned champion. The DJ competitions are held in North America and overseas. The US Finals will be held in Phoenix (Arizona), and the World Finals will be held in Tokyo (Japan). Red Bull Thre3style features DJs from more than twenty countries. This year’s regional competitors are Cool Hand Lex, DJ SpareChange, DJ Alee, DJ Muff, and DJ Topspeed. Today’s qualifier event will be held at the Concord Music Hall in Chicago, Illinois.
