Ozzy Osbourne Named as Headliner for Voodoo Fest

Ozzy Osbourne, Florence and the Machine, Slash, and the Zac Brown have just been named as headliners at the 2015 Voodoo Music Festival in New Orleans (LA). The festival will take place from October 30th through November 1st. Some of the other performers for the event include Chance the Rapper, Third Eye Blind, Santigold, Jane’s Addiction, Zhu, Modest Mouse, and Girl Talk. Tickets for the festival will go on sale June 23rd at 12:00pm(Eastern standard time) on the Festival Ticketing website.

Florence and the Machine were named as the Foo Fighters’ replacement for Glastonbury. The band had to cancel their gig due to the fact that David Grohl fractured his leg. The legendary festival will take place from June 24th through the 28th. Along with Florence and the Machine, Kanye West and The Who will also headline Glastonbury. This year’s festival will feature performances by Motörhead, Alabama Shakes, Mary J. Blige, Lionel Richie, Patti Smith, Pharrell Williams, Rudimental, Mark Ronson, Deadmau5, Ben Howard, Azealia Banks, The Chemical Brothers, Run the Jewels, and many more.

Florence and the Machine just released some new dates for their worldwide tour, in support of the band’s album How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful. The project was dropped last month, and it entered the US Albums chart at the top of the charts- which is the band’s first chart-topping album on the Billboard 200. “What Kind of Man” and “Ship to Wreck” have been released as singles, so far. “Ship to Wreck” reached Number 11 on the Hot Rock charts, and Number 14 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart. The single has also impacted the charts in the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Germany, Belgium, and Australia.

The Number 1 project features production by Paul Epworth (CeeLo Green and Adele) and Markus Dravs (Mumford and Sons and Bjork). Florence and the Machine’s other studio albums include Lungs (2009) and Ceremonials (2011).  Florence and The Machine‘s extended tour dates: June 26th in Pilton, England at Glastonbury; October 11th in Austin, Texas; October 13th in Phoenix, Arizona; October 14th in San Diego, California; October 16th and 17thin Los Angeles, California; October 20th in Santa Barbara, California; October 24th in Portland, Oregon; and October 27th in Seattle, Washington.
